I ended up getting through more fic this week than I thought XD

Falcon’s Freedom by Zdenka - Aredhel/Haleth!!!! This fic does an excellent job of capturing their personalities and making them very complementary--it makes total sense when they get together! 

Do I Hurt to Hold? by Anonymous - Another take on a kink meme prompt for a darker relationship between Galadriel and Melian. This fic really emphasizes the nature of the Elves being both spirit and body, and Melian’s other-ness comes across very strongly.

Disastrous Expense by Aipilosse - It’s just hot Feanel oral sex and it excels at that.

Ebb and Flow by @swanmaids - Very sweet very loving portrayal of Earendil and Elwing in Sirion <3 <3 <3 I really love how this one shows how they were supported by the community.

In the Ranks of Death You Will Find Him by TelerinJedi - My HEART. Finrod and Turgon feel each other die :’) This is all the loving angst I adore in this friendship.

Finrod goes hunting with Maglor and Maedhros by @actual-bill-potts - Very interesting take on one of Finrod’s hunting trips with his cousins! Love Finrod’s characterization here.

Warmth by @that-angry-noldo - Very very cute E-square family fluff in Sirion <3 <3 <3 I love this.

Snow by @theworldisquietheretooquiet - Fingon on the Helcaraxe and all the angst implied...I really love an exploration of the dangers they would have faced in a place like that and the Nolofinwean family feels here are excellent.

Keep My Heart Warm While I’m Gone by @melestasflight - For Aspect Arda Week, Aredhel and Ecthelion on the Ice. I really enjoyed this little exploration of that unconventional relationship and it also adds a little spice to the Gondolin dynamics.

Music for the Breaking of the Heart by @starspray - Daeron as a child first becomes enchanted with music. Very cute!

The Clinging Mists by @polutrope - Interaction between Daeron and Olwe! It’s so interesting to see an exploration of Daeron’s decision in a version where he chose to stay behind and wait for Thingol rather than press on to Aman. It gives a bit of additional weight to that relationship later!

You Are Too Late by @polutrope - Fucking badass Earendil and Ingwion moments during the War of Wrath...I love this so much.

Don’t Cry by @arofili - Finrod experiences mortal death :’) He does not take it well. This feels so true to his experience with mortals...it would be hard.

Dark Waters by @searchingforserendipity25 - Mermaid Daeron!! Daemags really does present itself for some dark, mysterious takes and this ficlet takes advantage of that.

Untitled by @welcomingdisaster - Oooh the sweet angst of that era when Maglor is presumptive high king. There’s so much emotion here, it’s delicious.
