Nov. 8th, 2021 07:41 amThis past weekend was KumoriCon in Portland, OR! I did a really irresponsible thing and promised my friends I'd fly back for it if they got a panel in! I wasn't able to get any work for school done over the weekend, but I did have a fun time at con with friends. It felt like AGES since we had been at a convention! The Artist's Alley was on fire; I wished I hadn't had to spend so much getting there so I could've bought more!
But the most important thing was that I won the expert round of the Tolkien trivia panel and won the ring of power
The folks running the panel asked if I'd be back next year and if I wanted to join them for their next trivia event, so now I HAVE to start considering my options for that...next year they'll be dressing up as Elven ladies for the panel and I could have the chance to cosplay Nerdanel...
A small con haul this time given how much I spent getting there, but I'm very happy with my Vivienne keychain, and I think my sister will appreciate this avocado toast pin (^・ω・^ )
